Phenomenal Opportunities for College Students

Our law office is proud to continue the relationship it has developed with Rutgers students and other local universities. We expand upon these relationships by bringing our Rutgers paralegal students to our networking group in Middlesex County. We frequently hire Rutgers students who are on the path to law school as paralegals. Not only do our paralegals learn in the office, we make sure they are able to interact with other business professionals in the community, which improves their speaking skills and networking skills.

Our office is a part of a networking group where business professionals regularly share business with each other. Eric encourages his paralegals to attend these meetings. Recently, our paralegals Alexis and Jake shared with the BNI Hawks the skills they learned in the office. As pre-law students, criminal defense work provides them with a firsthand experience in the day to day life of an attorney. This prepares them for what they should expect in law school. Alexis and Jake shared that they recently assisted our clients and obtained favorable results.

Our involvement with networking groups also helps our Rutgers students and other local college students explore other areas of law and connect with local business leaders. At the event, our paralegals are given the opportunity to network with lawyers in personal injury, business, and real estate, and a variety of other fields. Sometimes the firm will send his staff as a substitute, allowing them to present on behalf of our offices. This exposes them to other areas of the law they might be interested in, build meaningful connections for the future, and become more engaged with the legal community of Middlesex County.

If you are interested in law as a future career and desire a strong learning experience in the field, we submit our law office can provide that opportunity. Rutgers students are able to learn about the law before they begin the admissions process to law school, and provide them with connections to local professionals who can aid their future careers. Once they complete their experience, we always provide a letter of recommendation to support them in their future endeavors. We are proud to share that many of our Rutgers paralegals have gone on to become professionals in a wide range of legal fields, and look back on their experience in the criminal defense world positively. If you are a Rutgers undergraduate or a college student living locally and are interested in a gainful learning experience before law school, contact us.
